Ecker-Haupt VFW Post 5635 Mission and Objectives are consistent with the overall mission and objectives of
The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.

Of special interest to this Post are the thousands of military men and women that are currently serving in or have served in the Middle East. For they are the ones who shall replace and continue the Mission of the VFW when those that carry the torch now move on.
While providing the services to Veterans in other conflicts, we welcome the inclusion of our brothers and sisters of this current conflict.
Post 5635 sincerely believes and hopes that Veterans from the Middle East and other conflicts can find a welcome and comfortable home with us here; can find a shelter for their weary hearts; can heal and readjust to the comforts of a
populace at peace.
As those before us comforted, sheltered and aided us as we returned from WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and other areas of conflict, let us do the same for you brothers and sisters.
